I have a payroll service, I have a accountant and if you trust online and do not renew your account after you have imported all your history your are so screwed if you don't renew. Does anyone have a problem backing up your information.The point is I do not want any cloud based in my operation. Now the selling point is we do have to back up anymore because that is what the online experience does for your company. We have never done anything online except for updates. Here is what is the most disappointing experience. Now looking for a new bookkeeping software. We don't know what is worse, the new product or the customer service. If you are an investor in Intuit or QuickBooks, this is a very sad day. Simple reporting like AR is not matching the desktop version that we uploaded and shows open invoices from 10-plus years ago. They had no understanding of the QuickBooks product at all and could not even answer if there were any graphs available to start. We thought we were dealing with a bot, but the chat was being responded to by someone claiming to be a person in the Philippines. If you like graphs, you will not like the new QuickBooks online that has no graphs! The online chat for support has taken over one hour to get a simple answer about a simple function. The online version loses simple functions! You can no longer be able to move back and forth between invoices. I don’t know why they withdrew a perfectly good product that I used seamlessly for years without any issues, they have not given a viable explanation.īeware of the new QuickBooks online! Forced to leave the desktop version for a product we purchased which is another long story. The support line say I do not have the permissions to talk to them, even though they took all my company information from me over the phone to sell me the product in the first place! Intuit have handled the discontinuation of their desktop product very badly, how dare they kill it off almost a month in advance without warning! QBO is the worst product I’ve ever experienced, it makes hard work of the simplest task and my data in there is in total disarray now without access to the support line to help me to put it right. I migrated my data to QBO a month ago via movemybooks and the data does not resemble anything like I left it, not fit for purpose. Today I opened up QB desktop to find it’s no longer accessible without warning! The cut off date is supposed to be 30th June! I have no opportunity now to print reports and get information out of there. QB desktop shut down a month before the cut off date
